Dear “Six Families”
I tried your tuna at Whole Foods in Berkeley, Ca. today and was glad to have done so. After almost giving up on tuna, I am happy to say, I purchased two cans on the spot.

By the way, your sales rep, a young man, was pretty impressive and down right friendly.

Thank you for finding a way to continue your craft and living and for putting something quality out there on the market. It is refreshing and tasty.

I am a Foods teacher and I will definately have my students look you up on the internet when we cover Mercury poisioning in large fish canned tuna.

I wish you good luck.
Sincerely,
Cherri Farrell

Went to Whole Foods today in Bellingham Massachusetts - where I found an enthusiastic gentleman offering samples of your tuna.....Tasted so fresh and delicious....that I bought to cans - and plan to purchase American Tuna each time I visit Whole Foods. I also like the way he mixed the tuna with a tomato salsa..................instead of mayo. Thank you.

I was raised in a family that didn't appreciate any kind of fresh fish. Canned tuna was all we were ever introduced to as it was an inexpensive meal (tuna casserole) for a family of eight. Unfortunately, I still don't care for fish and had even given up canned tuna. My husband and I recently began to eat organically and his diabetes and my high cholesterol are now all but a memory. I do realize how important fish is in any diet but still don't care for the taste. However, since I ate canned tuna as a child I decided to try some fresh tuna in hopes that it tasted better than canned. Oh, my goodness is it expensive! My neighbor, a teacher to one of your children, was blessed to receive some samples of your tuna. As she will do, share the blessings and the wealth, she gave me a can of the jalapeno and one of the garlic. WOW! With the jalapeno tuna I made my healthy rendition of the old tuna casserole. I used all organic ingredients: broad noodles, peas, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, cayenne pepper and fresh cilantro. Boy was my husband impressed. It was delicious. The garlic tuna I put directly onto a fresh vegetable salad with homemade organic Thousand Island dressing. My husband has demanded that next time he get a entire can for himself! We belong to the Ocean Beach People's Organic Food Co-op. Is American Tuna available there? If not, I sure hope it is soon! Thank you so much for a truly tasty healthy food! God bless your families and enterprise.
Sincerely,
Patti Fraser

Just a quick note to let you know that you have a very happy customer on the East Coast! I'm typically leery of tuna, but while shopping at a Whole Foods nearby several weeks ago, I was enticed by the name of your company and the fact that the fish is pole caught. It stands to reason that younger pole caught fish would have less mercury, so I bought a few cans. The taste is superior to other tuna I've and and would be happy to serve it to my picky toddler. Thanks for persevering though the test market phase and thanks for making the product available over here.

This is the best tuna out of a can I have ever tasted! I am really floored. Today I went back to whole foods and bought 10 more cans. I am wondering if you have a special order, like if I order 50 cans I could get them for a discounted price. I would even order 100 cans because I don't think I will want to eat any other type of canned tuna for the rest of my life. Also, have another problem, I still some bumble bee tuna in the pantry and now I don't want to eat it. Maybe I'll make some ally cats happy. Seriously, congratulations on putting together such a quality product.

Tell the guys & gals we appreciate their hard work. There are many like minded folks out there that understand.

Many thanks to Jack, Let's Talk Hook-Up, & Allcoastfor spreading the word. The changes seem too slow, but times are changing & we need help from people like you.

O genki desu ka?
Our little Japanese community here loves the belly tissue (TORO), keep ripping ......! Your product is ichiban. My good friend from Nagoya was visiting when I received the care package from Oliveoil's boyfriend. We opened the TORO first, Kambesan wants more. Me too! Most of the group that sampled your product didn't believe they had eaten canned albacore (Toro). The reaction and interest in your product was amazing. The loggers here said' "It's better than Spotted Owl," ha-ha. The gringos' loved it too. Great product and video.
Thanks,

The tuna you caught and canned is delicious. Since our daughter is a nursing mother, she has been very cautious about eating very much tuna. We are delighted to be able to share what we learned today with her and share in such a delicious, nutritious product. She teaches biology and will be extremely interested in the very low levels of mercury and the process in which you handle the tuna. What you are doing must take a tremendous amount of energy and we want you to know that we really appreciate what you are doing.
Sincerely,
Helen and Gordon Miller

My husband and I have just had our first (and I sincerely hope, NOT our last) can of your fantastic gold label, albacore tuna. The taste and quality are superb! We split the 6 oz can, and wished we had more, only because it was so good.

Our normal dinner is salad and canned tuna or canned salmon, and we have been buying Geisha, but in the last year the quality has rapidly gone downhill. We have been searching for some good tuna, but yours is GREAT!

A local fisherman’s wife, gave me a can of your tuna and said it was delicious. Coming from a fisherman's family, I trust her judgement, and with good reason
Thank you,
Jeri Cartmel

Received our tuna shipment AND all the fascinating literature today; thank you for being so prompt with both. My daughters have already checked in and asked what is this? One's already opened a can of American tuna for dinner and sent the US flag up the flagpole to salute you for an excellent product. And we have told several of our friends as well. We live in a retirement community where health and good flavor , to say nothing of good value, are very much appreciated. When you get a moment, would you send me a handful of those newsletters to give to our friends who live here? I'd like to spread the word for you. Hope the kids are okay and that the fishing is good. I loved seeing a picture of all of you --- a true statement of family if ever I saw one. Thanks for making life a little tastier.

Yesterday I was at the Whole Foods in Berkeley and saw your product demo table, glanced down at the sign, grabbed a tasted of your product but walked on by. After eating the sample I had to go back to read your information to find out if it was true that yours is a pole caught tuna - because it was so good and I wanted more.

I spoke with your guy there and told him I stopped eating tuna - well most fish, because I could not support what large commercial fisheries were doing in the harvesting of their product. The disregard they show for other fish and the ocean is unconscionable and could not be a part of that.

As a matter of fact several of my friends and I were talking about that very same subject the other day and realized we had all stopped eating fish for the same reason - except for Alaskan Wild Salmon when we can afford it.

Anyway your demo guy said several people had said the very same thing to him. I have to admit I was kinda greedy and ate three samples because I couldn't believe had good it was. I don't think I've ever had tuna that tasted as good or so fresh. Of course since I've never had fresh tuna that's a weird statement but your tuna had a natural taste. Which is scary cuz it makes me think, jeez what have I been eating then?

I can't remember his name but you should thank your product demo person, I could tell he really believes in his product and is so supportive of what he and his family is doing.  He was also a good looking guy who was proud to point out his mother in the picture -the one with the shorter hair he said.

Needless to say I believed what he said and bought several cans and will continue to do so. I will also let my friends know it's ok to buy American Tuna at Whole Foods.

Thanks for making such a good product and helping to
keep our oceans and our food safe.

I just enjoyed a can of American Tuna with my family who are big tuna sandwich eaters on the weekend. We LOVED this tuna!!! At 5 bucks a pop--it's a real treat on Saturday morn after the obligatory soccer game. Thanks Carla for the birthday can-o- tuna.

Purchased your tuna after tasting it from your demo table at Harry’s Farmers Market in Alpharette, CA. Thanks for the great products! Love the other recipes on line. (referring to our on-line recipes).

I was introduced to your product by the mother of one of the owners. Frankly, I didn’t think anything could be as good as she said it was. But it only took one can for me to be a believer. Not only is the quality superior but there is two t three times as much fish in a can as there is in other name brands. Now I am telling everyone how great American Tuna is.
